Were You Recently Diagnosed With Lyme Disease?

How to Avoid Wasting Time & Money With 6 Steps

1. Add Certainty
If you're wondering if you do, indeed, have Lyme disease, we have a free app called the JNutra Handbook that you can download and take a well-known test called the Lyme MSIDS Questionnaire to give you a good idea as to whether or not it’s Lyme.
2. Play An Active Role In Your Healing ASAP
As you may be experiencing, Lyme disease is serious business. Just because it's not a well-known or visible illness, doesn't mean it isn't a serious illness. If it goes without proper treatment, it can negatively affect so many different aspects of your health. This isn't to try and scare you, but we just want to stress how important it is that you do everything you can to support your body around healing the Lyme NOW before it gets worse. You need to be as proactive as possible, as early as possible.
3. Find the Right Doctor

There are not many reliable tests out there to truly confirm that one has Lyme. It doesn’t show up on most standard tests like other diseases do. Lyme disease is also known as the "great imitator." This is because its symptoms can be so diverse that it can mimic 200 different illnesses. There’s a really tragic amount of people who get misdiagnosed as having "Atypical MS," "Atypical ALS," "Atypical Lupus," Fibromyalgia, or some other symptom-based diagnosis, and so they get the wrong treatments and waste a lot of time and money for nothing. In addition, many doctors have believed that it can only be Lyme disease if there is or was a bulls-eye rash, but we now know that only about 30% of people bitten by a Lyme-infected tick even develop a bulls-eye rash. Combine these with the testing difficulties and it's easy to see how misdiagnoses could be far too common. That doesn't have to be your story though! When searching for a doctor, use “Lyme-literate” as a keyword and find someone who specializes in this tricky illness instead of just your standard general practitioners. A good place to start could be seeing if one of the many clinics that carry the Jernigan Nutraceuticals product line is near you. Find out here.

4. Create a Well-Rounded Healing Strategy

Lyme is a multiple-pathogen illness. It’s very complex, so the healing approach will need to be well-rounded, meaning there will not be one “magic bullet” for this. Traditional Western Medicine will prescribe antibiotics. It may help in a way (maybe??? for some people???), but it’s more likely that it will do more harm than good, and it’s very common that they treat it that way for a while, and then the Lyme bacteria adapt and become resistant to the antibiotics and the person ends up worse off than they started. As much as we all love a quick-fix, it's important to know as you're going into this that "quick-fix" just isn't the name of the game with Lyme disease. That being said, if you approach it correctly, it is possible to shorten the road to restored health.

When you get this complicated illness, it's as if you become a magnet for many other infections. Mold toxicity, parasites, bacteria, viruses, and so on-- it's very likely that you will need to address all of these to one degree or another, and that requires the right remedies, lifestyle changes, emotional healing, home therapies, etc. The more proactive and involved your health support is, the shorter your road gets.

Finding a doctor who will offer broad-spectrum support with all this in mind will be very helpful, as opposed to one who takes a more isolated approach and goes after JUST borrelia burgdorferi or JUST bartonella, etc.

If you're having a hard time finding or getting to such a doctor, we offer the Short-Term Intensive Bundle which includes high-performance natural remedies to cover all your bases at once. After doing a round of this protocol, it will be easier to simplify because you'll know what pathogen or toxin needs special attention. This bundle is also a great protocol to do as you prepare for a doctors appointment because it will clean up a lot ahead of time, therefore allowing the doctor to cut straight to the most serious issues right off the bat.

5. DETOX. Yes, It Really Is Important.

You MUST do everything you can to support your body’s detoxification systems. "Detox" may seem like it's just an overrated fad, but please listen-- Not focusing on detoxifying when you have Lyme disease puts you at greater risk for permanent damage to joint and nerve tissues, more pain, and stunted progress. From the produce we consume to the air we breathe, the toxic load of the world we live in is absolutely staggering and that constant toxic bombardment jams up our cells and hinders their functions. This effect is worsened with Lyme disease because you also now have endogenous toxic die-off from the different infections that wreaks havoc of its own. To overcome Lyme, you need your body's systems firing on all cylinders, so these effects create significant issues. Optimizing your body's ability to eliminate external toxins, die-off toxins, and inflammatory cytokines efficiently MUST be a part of any Lyme protocol. You do this by incorporating home therapies into your daily routine, eliminating any toxic products/foods in your home, purifying the air you have control over, ensuring your home and workspace is free of mold, and taking the right remedies that support your body's ability to detoxify. This is why we created the innovative Neuro-Antitox II Formulas. They are Lyme-specific formulas that help the body detoxify, demonstrating incredible efficacy over the past 23 years. You can find them HERE. The free JNutra Handbook app has tons of tutorials for home therapies for this. The more you can support your body with these, the better ANY protocol will work, whatever route you choose.

6. Support Yourself Emotionally & Mentally

Your emotional and mental health are important too! Chronic illness often brings an intense emotional battle with it. Know that you are still enough even if you can't do everything you used to, and remember to act and think with love for your body, knowing that it is doing the best it can to heal. It's important to solve any emotional trauma you may have because buried emotions can oftentimes contribute to physical problems. The thoughts you think send commands to every cell in your body, so be very disciplined in thinking in a way that does not perpetuate the illness. Shift your focus from the illness, to the healing.
